1. Who processes the data

2. Where the data comes from

• From e-mails and phone calls you initiate.
• From the form on this site — which sends nothing to any server. The button opens your own e-mail client with the message ready; the data reaches me only once you send it yourself.
• From the client under a contract — contact details of the people handling the matter and details of the property.

3. Why, and on what legal basis

• Answering an enquiry and preparing a fee proposal — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract).
• Performance of a design and supervision contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Tax and accounting obligations, and retention of documentation required by law, including Polish construction law — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
• Day-to-day contact, pursuing claims and defending against them — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

4. For how long

• Correspondence that did not lead to a contract — up to 12 months from the last contact.
• Accounting records — 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the obligation arose.
• Design documentation and contract data — until the limitation periods for claims expire, and for the period required by construction regulations.

5. Who the data may be shared with

Consulting engineers and collaborators — only as far as the work requires; the accounting office; the hosting and e-mail providers; and public authorities where the procedure requires it, for example in a building permit application. Data is never sold or shared for marketing purposes. Where a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, this takes place under standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectify, erase or restrict its processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

7. Is providing data required

Providing data is voluntary. Without contact details I cannot answer an enquiry, and without the data needed for a contract it cannot be concluded or performed.

8. Cookies, statistics, profiling

This site uses no cookies and no analytics tools. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making. The hosting server keeps standard access logs (IP address, date, requested address) for security and diagnostics, on the basis of legitimate interest.

This document applies from 2026-08-25. If the site starts collecting data on its own side — through a server-side form or visit statistics, for instance — the policy must be updated before such a feature goes live.
